Teatro Efimero:
Desarraigo (Uprooting) by Atl Marsch
Desarraigo brings the migrant experience to life: the feeling of living between two worlds and navigating different identities. With a mix of humor and heart, it explores the inner struggles of adjusting to a new way of life. These are conflicts we all share, but they become much more intense when everything familiar suddenly disappears. The scenes are both deeply personal and universally understood, connecting easily with the audience’s own memories, dreams, and emotions.
About Teatro Efímero
Teatro Efímero was founded in 2022 by passionate actors with extensive stage experience, brought together by a shared goal: to bring Desarraigo to the stage. Through an organic process of creative exploration, the group shaped and refined the play's concepts and text. Desarraigo now carries the spirit of everyone who has been a part of Teatro Efímero. Under the direction of Atl Marsch, the piece found its final form through theatrical exercises and improvisation, incorporating elements of Teatro del Sí with guidance from Marina Pallarés.
